MAVIE FILMS is an independent film production company founded in 2017 by Erkan Acar. Based in Berlin with an additional office in Munich, we produce gripping feature films, captivating series, and innovative content for both German and international audiences—from concept to completion. Whether working solo or in co-productions, we handle every phase of development, financing, and production to ensure top-quality entertainment.

Our name reflects our mission: Mavie is derived from the French “ma vie” (my life), symbolizing creativity and personal vision. Driven by passion, energy, and a forward-thinking mindset, we foster an inspiring environment where young talents can tell fresh, compelling stories. In collaboration with Red Bull, we launched the New Generations MAVIE WRITERS ROOM, an initiative dedicated to supporting emerging writers and directors and propelling their projects to the forefront of the industry.
